You can't have war without war crimes, but a whole lot of war crimes are make-believe, period.
Twenty-one years ago, Iraqi troops were accused of committing atrocities at Kuwaiti hospitals. This testimony was provided by the 15-year-old daughter of the Kuwaiti official sitting next to her.
It never happened.
Now, Libyan troops defending the former status quo are being accused of similar highly-unlikely crimes.
