The US backed its former enemies
In a now established pattern, the US is intervening again in the Middle East to arm anti-ISIS Sunni tribesmen in Iraq rebelling against ISIS.
Among other weaponry, the US plans to send AK47s and rocket powered grenades.
The justification for this action is that not arming the dissenters will leave them reluctant to fight back.
