The great danger...

Oe industry has always been able to make a buck on violence and the general abuse of people: the defense industry.

Until recently, their business was fairly simple:

1. Build bombs
2. Incite wars
3. Repeat

Now something new and sinister has been added to the mix: turning the US into not just a police state, but a prison state.

One of the hallmarks of a "good" prison is surveillance, total surveillance of the population.

Pentagon contractors have figured out how to turn a buck on that and Congress has figured out how to collect.
