We all know what the FBI did - or failed to do - in the 9/11 case.

In case you didn't know, they ignored the obvious evidence that something sinister was brewing and then after the attack they went after witnesses who contradicted the official story and harassed them.

What is not so well known is what the NSA knew and when did they know it. It turns out they knew a lot well in advance of 9/11 - and they didn't need a global sweep of the private communication of all American citizens to figure it out.

But they did nothing.
