A "level one violation"
In South Carolina, if you are a prisoner and you or a family member updates your Facebook status, you could be convicted of a Level 1 violation.
One prisoner was sentenced to 37 years of solitary confinement for repeated violation of this law.
Let’s be real: Solitary confinement is a SERIOUS threat to psychological health, and SC law enforcement is clearly just throwing it around for minor offenses.
