Highlights from his appearance on the Charlie Rose Show
Syrian President Bashar al Assad points out that the US has "confidence" but no evidence of a Syrian government chemical war attack and that no evidence has been presented to the American public.
Of course, he's right.
All that's missing is Colin Powell holding up a little vial.
Bashar also points out that an attack on Syria is not only not justified, it's not in the best interests of America, a logical conclusion since Al-Qaeda is one of the factions vying to take over Syria if the current government falls.
In fact, one of the many violent conflicts going in Syria is between Al-Qaeda and other rebels, Al-Qaeda hoping to wipe them out.
