The news says that Turkey is attacking "The Kurds."
That's pretty vague reporting.
Here are some of the details the news is leaving out:
Rojava, the region under attack, is not just a random collection of people.
It was the most promising experiments in democracy in the Middle East.
Its people were simultaneously fighting ISIS and being economically blockaded by Turkey and Iraq. They managed to carve out an area about the size of Belgium.
Now, US ally Turkey has crossed into Syria to destroy this community and uproot its people.
But don't believe the crocodile tears of US politicians and new-fascists. They know little about Rojava and care even less.
