All over the country, kids whose parents have opted them out of taking common core tests are forced to "sit and stare" while their classmates take tests.

That means no books, no music, no writing, no drawing.

This is humiliating, cruel and absolutely ridiculous.

Strangely, this is being adopted all over, and it's not clear where it came from.

Where are the reports on this issue?

One state, Tennessee, has opted out of Common Core altogether. Others would do well to follow its example.
