College administrator orders a police officer to assault a Teacher of the Year.

Why?

He didn't want people clapping during a public meeting or commenting on his ban on applause.

What did the police officer do?

Not hard to guess the answer to that question.

Anyone charged?

Well, the assaulted teacher was arrested for disturbing the peace and resisting arrest - after he got out of the emergency room.

And then he was fired from his job.

The thug in blue? No problems for him.

The thug administrator? No problem for him either.

In what other country on earth do police assault teachers at the command of administrators during a public comments sessions and get away with it?
