When I first drew the connection between the NYPD not being able to protect citizens from an out-of-control motorcycle gang that has been terrorizing New Yorkers (and now beating them) for over a year - and their handiness with batons and pepper spray against non-violent protestors...
I never in a million years imagined that one of the motorcycle thugs who attacked a man and his family was an NYPD detective who actually spied on and disrupted "Occupy Wall Street" operations.
But there you have it.
His lawyer is trying to make him out to be some kind of a hero because of his courageous "service."
Give me a break.
