It's hard to believe this story is true, but I checked into it and it is.

A NYC cop got wildly drunk after work and then shot a total stranger with his service pistol for no reason at all, then drove away.

Let's see:

1. Driving while intoxicated

2. Assault with deadly force

3. Discharing a firearm within the city limits of NYC

4. Leaving the scene of of accident

How deeply would you be buried if you committed a crime like this?

I guess it pays to be an enforcer for a criminal regime.
