We’ve seen a whole lot of accounts of police brutality in the media in the last year, but this one may just top the charts…

Freddie Gray, with apparently broken legs, was handcuffed, thrown into the back of a van with no seatbelt and tossed around in a “nickel ride” until his spine was severed and he passed away.

This wasn’t some accident. This wasn’t “self-defense”. This was a group of human beings treating another human being like an animal, plain and simple.
