"The Dark Side of Camelot" may be hard to swallow for some people.
Given the disastrous series of US presidents that followed Kennedy - Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan...well all of them - there's an almost psychic necessity to believe that at least once we got it right.
But the need to worship leaders is a problem.
We should be guided by the facts and the historical record alone.
