How could we let this happen?

While we wage wars to "give" other countries democracy, our future is floundering below the poverty line.

In the meantime, Republicans are literally taking food out of our children's mouths with cuts to food stamps.

There is no regard to how this will affect their, or, in the long term, our country's well being.

Our children cannot continue to grow up this way and be expected to become productive members of society.
