"Leftists" hate the federal Common Core curriculum.
"Right wingers" hate it too.
Why?
Because they're the only ones paying attention to the latest travesty from Washington DC.
Backed by Bill Gates and rammed down the throats of State school systems (with bribes and threats), Common Core is designed to downplay independent thought and promote "preparation for higher education and work."
That's a great plan if you want people who are compliant, but it's a terrible idea if you want people who can think for themselves.
The purpose of education should be to teach reading, writing, math and the ability to research and think.
