A monopoly protected in exchange for cooperating with propaganda

It's not enough that YouTube arbitrarily closes accounts, highlights alt-right nut jobs, and suppresses viewership of progressive news shows...
Now they're in the "official story" business too.
Why?
#1. They've been paid by a consortium of "news "networks - CNN, Fox, MSNBC etc. - to highlight mainstream videos and "deep six" independently produced ones
#2. Google is operating an illegal monopoly in the search advertising space. They know it, the Congress knows it and the Justice Department knows it,
But nothing happens. Why?
Because Google/YouTube is playing along with a "broader agenda."
