Smithsonian hanky-panky
In the 1800s and earlier (and later), there were hundreds of published accounts in local newspapers of the discovery of skeletons of "giants."
The stories always end the same way:
After a short period of public exhibition scientists from the Smithsonian came by, packed them up and shipped them to Washington DC.
Where are those skeletons now?
"We don't have them. They never existed," say a parade of Smithsonian spokespeople.
Does it make sense that LOCAL newspapers in hundreds of small towns in New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, and elsewhere made up stories about local discoveries - and exhibitions (easily debunked)?
Why would the Smithsonian engage in a multi-decade program to hide the evidence?
