This is footage from the first press conference given by the Apollo 11 astronauts after returning from the moon.
What is wrong with this picture?
The three men appear very subdued to say the least. Neil Armstrong, reportedly the first man to set foot on the moon, relates his experience with no enthusiasm reading in robotic fashion off a cue card.
Why do these men look and behave so oddly?
Don't you think there should be a small sense of exhilaration?
There are serious questions raised about the Apollo 11 mission to the moon. If you watch this footage, it's hard to shake an uncertain feeling that something is seriously amiss.
If we did go to the moon back then, then why did we never go back? That is one of many questions we will probably never have good answers to.
Food for thought.
